Landscape Gardeners in the Ribble Valley
Across the Ribble Valley, Tracey-Anne Gardens creates bespoke gardens for properties ranging from village homes to larger rural plots surrounded by open countryside. From Waddington, Chatburn and Grindleton to Hurst Green, West Bradford and the many smaller villages throughout the valley, each location has its own character, architecture and relationship with the surrounding landscape. The area includes numerous historic and conservation villages, alongside more rural properties where views, changes in level, mature boundaries, stone walls and the wider countryside often become an important part of the design.
Our work includes patios and pathways, retaining walls, pergolas, fencing, screening and carefully considered planting, together with complete garden transformations. Whether working with a traditional stone property, a contemporary home or a garden overlooking open farmland, our aim is to create practical, beautiful outdoor spaces that complement both the property and the distinctive landscape of the Ribble Valley.
Spinners Vale Project - Billington
A Garden Designed for Everyday Living
Every garden should feel welcoming from the moment you step outside, and this transformation was all about creating a space a lovely couple could enjoy every day.
The small builder's patio has been replaced with a generous entertaining area laid in beautiful Raj Indian sandstone providing plenty of room for outdoor dining, relaxing and spending time with friends and family. To connect the different levels naturally, we designed a set of bespoke curved feature steps, creating an elegant focal point that softens the transition into the garden.
The raised terrace is framed by Yorkshire stone walling, deliberately left open to create integrated planting beds. As the flowers mature, they'll spill gently over the walls, adding colour and softening the natural stone throughout the seasons.
To one side of the garden, we created a rockery using Cotswold stone, bringing texture and interest while complementing the warm tones of the sandstone paving. The planting scheme combines architectural structure with seasonal colour, featuring a striking Japanese Acer, a standard Photinia for evergreen interest, and a carefully selected mix of colourful perennials that will continue to develop year after year.
The result is a garden that feels spacious, balanced and inviting—a place that's just as enjoyable with a morning coffee as it is when entertaining family and friends.

This garden has been transformed from an ordinary lawn into a beautiful, contemporary outdoor space designed to be enjoyed throughout the year. By replacing much of the grass with decorative gravel, introducing striking Japanese maples and carefully layering evergreen planting, we've created a garden that's both elegant and easy to maintain. The sandstone patio now flows naturally into the new landscape, while the raised timber borders add warmth, structure and seasonal colour. It's a perfect example of how thoughtful design can completely change the feel of a garden without making it feel over-designed.
